At Spector, I won a copy of the book "Diverse Voices: Profiles in Leadership" which I will use to complete the Bateman Case Study with other members of the URI PRSSA chapter.
As secretary and special events coordinator for the URI PRSSA chapter, I helped organize an event in which five PR professionals spoke to students about their careers in PR.
During Summer 2018, I was the public relations intern at FM Global, one of the world's largest commercial and industrial property insurers.
I had the opportunity to be a VIP guest at the taping of one of the last "Harry Show" episodes and learn more about the communications and TV industry.
On our trip to NYC, we met a URI alum who works in the TV industry.
I had the opportunity to meet Harry Connick Jr. after the taping of his show and ask him questions about working in the TV industry.

The PRSSA goes on an annual trip to the FM Global headquarters to meet with Steven Zenofsky, the chapter's professional advisor.
Visiting the CBS Broadcast Center in New York and watching the behind the scenes of a taping of the "Harry Show" was an amazing experience.
I had the opportunity to visit the Alex and Ani headquarters and meet with professionals in their marketing department, along with a VIP tour of the office building.
For my Event Management class, I coordinated a booth at the annual Homecoming game to inform students, potential students, and their families about the Harrington School of Communication and Media.
I am proud to be a public relations and communication studies student in the Harrington School of Communication and Media!
